Hi, my name is Kendrick Lam. I am currently 21 years old and a Senior at SCAD. I'm majoring in 3D Animation and minoring in VFX! I have been interested in 3D design and animation ever since my childhood. I have a wide range of experience in Adobe products, Autodesk Maya, UE5, Blender, and Procreate!

Before arriving at SCAD, I wanted to be an aerospace engineer. Could you believe it? An aerospace engineer turned artist? Hard to believe right? Well, my father's family working in the aerospace industry definitely influenced me when I was younger. ​

Middle school is where I got my first taste of the arts. after that I loved it! I loved using Tinkercad back then to create 3d models during my spare time plus joining the FIRST Robotics Club that was available to me at my high school also had a huge impact on my decision. However, my focus was going back and forth up until the near last days of my high school years.
I first joined the business subgroup of my team for the first two years but it wasn't really for me. During my final year of high school, I joined the design subgroup and knew I found something I liked. We worked on AutoCAD. Loved being able to create parts and playing around with designs and putting them together to form a complete visual model of what our robot design looks like for our upcoming competitions.

After making a huge decision, I decided that I wanted to major in the arts. I decided by mixing CAD design, motion, and art together I came up with 3D animation.
Kendrick was born in Fremont, CA. He has since moved to the east coast and is currently pursuing a B.F.A. in 3D Character Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA. His interests are primarily in Digital Art. Kendrick enjoys storytelling through standout poses with diversity in composition while incorporating his style.
